
Dr. Taylor Fraychak
Veterinarian
Dr. Taylor Fraychak is originally from Harwinton, Connecticut, but moved to Cheraw, South Carolina for her high school years. After high school she pursued a B.S. degree in biological sciences from Clemson University. After graduating from Clemson University, she gained her M.S. in biological sciences at Auburn University.
In 2016 Dr. Fraychak decided to pursue both her love of animals and medicine and began her studies at Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. After graduating from Tufts in 2020, Dr. Fraychak pursued a postgraduate rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Angell at Essex in Danvers, Massachusetts where she enhanced her skills in community medicine and general surgery. After her internship Dr. Fraychak went into general practice at Sterling Animal Hospital in Sterling, MA.
Dr. Fraychak then wished to get back into community medicine after being in general practice and joined the team at Rochester Community Animal Clinic, in Rochester, NY, in 2022 in order to learn high volume spay/neuter. Dr. Fraychak joined our team at Second Chance in 2024. Dr. Fraychak’s interests include dentistry, high volume/high quality spay and neuter surgery, and physical therapy. She is excited to continue her career here at Second Chance. “I am very excited to be part of the amazing team here at Second Chance! The enthusiasm and care the employees have for patients is unmatched,” says Dr. Fraychak.
Dr. Fraychak lives with her husband, Ken, and cat, Twiggy. In her free time, she and her husband love to hike and are avid runners. Her other interests are painting, knitting, gardening, camping, and reading fiction novels.
