Second Chance dogs are currently residing in our East Brookfield shelter or in foster homes in South Central Massachusetts. For information on our policies and fees, visit the policies page. If you are interested in adopting one of our wonderful dogs, please submit an adoption application. Please note that our adoption process is run mostly by our very hard working dedicated volunteers. All adoption applications are processed as quickly as possible. While most times it only takes a few days, during busy times it make take as long as a week to process the application. Also, we do occasionally get multiple applications on the same dog. When this happens, we do schedule "meet and greets" with the applicants to ensure the best possible match. Our love and dedication is to find the best possible home for our dogs. I love to play outside and I am just full of energy. I am very energetic on my leash walks, but because I am so small I am very easy to control. Because I am a Fox Terrier, I will bond very closely with my new family and will always be protective of them. I am very likely to be a little picky about who comes into my house, so you will need to show me complete leadership. Don’t let me think for one minute that I am in charge of the Pack. I can be very feisty. Although I do get along with some of the dogs here at the shelter, I can be very picky about who I do like. I would probably do better to be an only dog. But, if you want a companion to be your pal, spend our days snuggling and playing, be your loyal and devoted friend, I am your boy. We can go everywhere together.. I would just love that.
